本次研讨会恰逢中国女经济学者研究培训项目成立十周年。届时，我们将邀请多位来自国内外的指导教师和历届学员共同举行庆祝活动，并对学术研究和政策分析进行研讨。其中，美国著名劳动经济学家Francine D. Blau 教授（Cornell University）将做题为“研究性别工资差异”的主题演讲。
现面向国内外经济学界征文：本次会议征集用微观数据分析中国问题的实证研究成果，论文主题不限，但优先考虑政策主导的实证研究。欢迎中国女经济学者研究培训项目历届学员、中国女经济学者联谊会会员及广大男性研究者积极参与、踊跃投稿。
论文投稿截止日期为2012年3月31日。
所提交论文应是未发表的研究成果，需包含论文题目、作者姓名和完整的联系地址（包含工作单位、电子邮件、传真和通讯作者的电话）。
应征论文将通过评审程序确定是否入选并尽可能反馈评审意见。2012年4月30日前将发送正式参会邀请函给入选论文作者，最终全文请在2012年5月25日前提交。
费用及资助：
本次会议不收取会议注册费，提供会议期间的食宿（每篇入选论文限一位作者）。

The Ninth CWE International Workshop on Empirical Research
Using Micro Data

We are happy to announce that the 9th CWE (Chinese Women Economists) International Workshop on Empirical Research Using Micro Data is calling for papers.
The CWE International Workshop is an academic event of the CWE Research and Training Program. The Program was established in 2002 and sponsored by the Ford Foundation. Since its inception, the Program has provided advanced research training and mentoring for more than 200 Chinese women economists from about 100 universities and research institutes in China, and more than 30 senior researchers from China, Australia, Canada, the UK and the U.S. have served as research mentors for program trainees. Organized on an annual basis, the CWE international workshop brings together current and former students, mentors, and researchers supportive of women economists and interested in sharing results of their empirical research using micro data. It also provides a platform for women economists to share research experience with each other and with male colleagues, and to explore opportunities for future collaborations.
The 9th CWE International Workshop is held in conjunction with the celebration of CWE Program’s Ten-Year Anniversary. Many devoted research mentors and successful program graduates will participate in the event. Internationally renowned gender expert and labor economist – Professor Francine D. Blau of Cornell University will give a keynote entitled “Understanding the Gender Pay gap” at the workshop.
Topics: Any topic on the Chinese economy that is analyzed using micro data, with a preference for policy-oriented empirical analysis.
SUBMISSION GUIDLINES:
The organizers invite the submission of papers or substantive abstracts (3-5 pages) by March 31, 2012. Submissions should be send electronically to Ms. Jin Haiyu at: chwen2003@126.com, The subject of the email should be “Workshop submission”. Please include your name, affiliation, mailing address, phone numbers and email address.
Successful applicants will be communicated by April 30, 2012. The deadline for submitting the completed paper is May 25, 2012.
EXPENSES AND SUBSIDIES:
No registration fee.
Chinese Women Economists Research and Training Program will provide hotel and meals for one author of the selected paper.
